Hi everyone,

If you’re reading this message, it’s because you have either been a regular patient of Jack’s over the last 12 months or so, or seen him at least once in that time. I wanted to take a moment to write to you all to let you know about an upcoming change to Jack’s treatment schedule.

First, I want to acknowledge that changes to practitioner availability can be frustrating and annoying, and I do apologise for that. I know that many of you are used to seeing Jack at a particular day or time of the week, and that may no longer be possible.

As most of you will know, Jack has been racking up some serious kilometres over the past couple of years, travelling between home, Concord West, Maitland and Kirribilli to different clinic locations. Many of you will also know that Jack & I started up the Kirribilli clinic in late 2024 with a view to building this up quickly and allowing Jack to move away from the Maitland clinic, saving him a significant amount of time, cost and energy in his week (not to mention the chance to actually see his kids on those days!)

Unfortunately, the Kirribilli venture didn’t take off as hoped, and Jack & I decided to close this down earlier in 2026. This left Jack with a bit of a dilemma – the need to stop travelling 2 hrs each way to Maitland was as strong as ever, but the sluggish economy meant he knew that full time hours here at Pinnacle wasn’t currently an option, so he has continued to try and find a solution.

Recently, a solution has become available, which is great news! Being able to finish up in Maitland will be a game changer for Jack and the family. Unfortunately, however, this solution involves full time hours working in a return-to-work organisation with workers comp patients, and hence he is no longer available during standard business hours here at Pinnacle.

Jack, however, doesn’t want to give up treating, and wants to continue to look after his patient load the best that he can. As such, from the week commencing Mon 20 July, Jack will be working the following hours:

• Wednesdays 6:30 – 9pm (which will start closer to 6pm after a few months)
• Saturdays 6am – 2pm

Again, I acknowledge that this is a significant change to his current schedule, however I hope that with the availability of both a later Wednesday evening and a long Saturday, that you will still be able to get in to see him at a time that suits you.

With regards to his current Wednesday and Friday hours, I will continue to be available during most of those hours and am happy to see any of you as required (along with all my regular Mon-Fri hours). Jack and I work closely together and I will have all his treatment notes to work off, so I can assure you that you will have a good continuation of care.

If you’re unable to see Jack during his new hours, and you wish to see him before the schedule changes, you’ve got the rest oft his week and next week to do so!
