How does the Premium Level Membership work?

If you’re suffering chronic pain, undergoing a lengthy rehab procedure or just know that you benefit from a higher frequency of treatment, this is the level for you.

Membership at this level is $299/month paid 3-monthly (or $309/month paid monthly). There are no additional charges when you come in for standard chiro & physio appointments, and just a small $15 surcharge for extended (30 min) consults or dry needling sessions.

You also get access to unlimited classes every week (space permitting), plus 10% off massage, 15% off products, and full access to the Pinnacle Digital library for hours of online classes to do at home.

What about claiming from my health fund?

At the end of each month, we will provide you with an itemised receipt detailing the appointments and classes that you attended. The $299 monthly fee will be dispersed evenly across these appointments and classes, and you can then send that receipt to the health fund for claiming. Most health funds make claiming super easy these days, either via an app or an online portal where you can easily upload the receipt that we email you.

For many people, a higher frequency of treatment is exactly the thing they need to really get fixed properly, and until now the costs to achieve that may have been prohibitively high.

Meet Antonio – Premium Level Member

Antonio (Tony) is a 28 year old builder, who also plays football on the weekends with training twice a week. His job is physically demanding, and involves heavy lifting and getting into some tight spaces and weird positions.

Despite being physically active both at work and away from it, his share of football injuries over the years continues to come back to bite him. He also had to have a rotator cuff tear surgically repaired a few years ago, and because he didn’t rehab it properly at the time, it often gives him trouble at work.

He has tried getting sporadic treatment every now and again which has worked short term, but it keeps coming back.

He has now done a significant lower back disc injury lifting some steel poles at work. He knows he needs a fair bit of treatment, and he knows he needs ongoing care thereafter. These sorts of problems may continue to pop up down the track for him, such is the nature of his heavily active work and exercise lifestyle.

Rather than being concerned with how many sessions he can afford, or when his health fund is going to stop paying (which won’t be long given the amount of treatment he’ll need over the coming months), Tony decides that the premium level is for him.

In the first 2 weeks, he’s seeing the chiro 3 times a week to get his disc injury to settle down. The chiro is doing a combination of soft tissue work, traction therapy on the flexion-distraction table and some gentle mobilisations. He is also seeing the physio weekly to work on some self-management exercises to unload the disc and start to build some core stability around that area. A weekly massage at 10% off is also helpful as it settles down the muscle spasm he’s experiencing.

In the first month he’s seen the chiro and physio for a combined total of 15, which would normally cost him nearly $1,500. But as a premium member, it’s all included in his $299 monthly fee. He’s had a couple of extended consults and dry needling sessions which have incurred a small $15 surcharge each time, but that’s still nothing compared to what the whole process would have otherwise cost him.

Over the course of the first 3 months of care he has saved a ton of money, gained great results and is working on a longer term plan with the physio to include some strength & conditioning classes, some routine chiro visits and massage thrown in as well. He’s back on the football field, functioning great at work and never felt better.

He has even kept up his premium membership, because even though some months he doesn’t come quite as frequently, he knows that the months he does have some extra sessions (and a second included class in the week too), he’s way ahead. And he also knows that because we can only offer a limited number of premium memberships, if he gives up his spot he may lose it and have to join the queue to get a spot again.
