Kristy is an energetic Physiotherapist who enjoys journeying alongside people to help them achieve their goals, whether its pain-free movement or all the way through to performing at an elite level. She has a love for both the acute stage of injury management right through to rehabilitation, strengthening and ongoing maintenance.

Achieving her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree with Honours from Central Queensland University in 2016, she has gone on to work in a variety of roles and settings. These positions have seen her gain experience in neurological conditions, post-surgical rehab, functional movement assessment, acute injury management and aged care, to name a few. Previously working in rural Queensland, Kristy brings to our clinic her unique abilities learnt from working in dynamic environments which could be unpredictable in nature. She brings creativity to her exercise prescription and treatment techniques, to help you achieve the goals you are looking for.

Having worked for James Cook University as an academic and supervisor to physio students, Kristy has her “head in the books” and is driven to provide evidence-based treatment. She is excited about sharing information and empowering people to understand more about their own health. She has made neurological and brain injuries her interest area, understanding the importance of good movement patterns in the function of the whole body.

Away from the clinic, you’ll find Kristy in her spare time camping, 4WDriving, volunteering with Girl Guides, keeping her indoor plants alive (as best as possible) and exploring nearby towns. You may even see her wearing a QLD Maroons jersey to the clinic during state of origin time, but we can forgive her for that.

Say hi to Kristy next time you’re in!
